About The Position

The Senior Operations and Plant Manager oversees and optimizes operations at SaniSure’s extrusion facility in Twinsburg, Ohio. The role ensures operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and alignment with strategic goals while leading cross-functional teams, managing resources, and driving continuous improvement to support business growth and operational excellence. It also plays a key role in production planning to meet customer demand and delivery commitments.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
At least 5 years of progressive experience in operations management, preferably in manufacturing, biopharma, or related industries.
Strong leadership and team-management skills, with a demonstrated ability to drive results, motivate a team, manage performance, and resolve conflicts.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Knowledge of operational best practices, lean manufacturing, and process-improvement methodologies.
Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Competence interpreting data, generating reports, and making data-driven decisions.
Proactive approach to identifying improvement opportunities and driving positive change.
Strategic thinking, operational excellence, leadership and team development, financial acumen, and regulatory compliance capabilities.

Responsibilities

Lead daily production, supply chain, logistics, and quality assurance operations in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards.
Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to improve productivity and efficiency.
Work with Planning, Purchasing, Sales, and Customer Service to develop and maintain production plans and schedules aligned with forecasted demand and customer commitments.
Balance capacity, equipment availability, material supply, and staffing to optimize extrusion-line utilization, minimize changeovers, and meet on-time delivery targets.
Manage budgets, forecasts, and operational performance metrics to achieve financial and operational objectives.
Drive continuous improvement, process optimization, cost reduction, and workflow enhancements.
Collaborate with engineering, quality, sales, and other cross-functional teams to support seamless operations and project execution.
Ensure compliance with applicable industry regulations, safety standards, company policies, OSHA safety standards, PPE requirements, and ISO regulations.
Mentor, coach, and develop operations staff; support performance, engagement, training, and career development.
Analyze operational data and generate reports to inform leadership decisions.
Set and track location goals and objectives aligned with company goals.
Identify opportunities to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts, coordinating with Human Resources as needed.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure cohesive operations and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Approve timekeeping records in the timekeeping system.
