The Wall Street Journal is seeking a Senior Photo Editor for WSJ. Magazine and Style News coverage (which includes the Entertainment, Fashion & Lifestyle, and Culture bureaus). WSJ. Magazine and Style News blend deep reporting, intelligent wit and good taste to create compulsively readable stories, analysis and features on the subjects of style, entertainment, celebrity, society, lifestyle and the arts. Photographically, style and magazine content at The Journal takes many forms—reported articles, celebrity profiles, photo essays, fashion editorials, social media, events and more. We are looking for a photo editor with both a stylish sensibility and journalistic integrity who brings an interest and background in style and cultural features assigning and production. You must also have a digital, deadline-driven background and be able to work quickly and accurately on a range of subjects, collaborating with the relevant bureau editors and reporters as well as non-staff writers and contributors. You should have experience with contemporary portraiture, reportage, conceptual still-life and have deep, expedient research skills.
