About The Position

The Senior Ambulatory Pharmacy Technician provides expertise in supporting Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacy practice. In addition to the regular Ambulatory Pharmacy Technician duties and direct patient interactions, this role is key to supporting both caregivers and the department leadership meeting clinical and operational goals. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Washington Pharmacy Technician License (Upon hire)
• National Certified Pharmacy Technician certification (Within 2 years of hire)
• 4 years of Pharmacy Technician experience

Nice To Haves

• Pharmacy technician program coursework/training (may be required in some states for pharmacy technicians)
• 1 year of customer service experience
• 1 year or more of work experience in an ambulatory pharmacy setting with high stress or high-volume service
• 1 year or more of experience with prior authorizations, financial assistance, and patient interviewing
• 1 year or more of experience with EMR and pharmacy information systems, patient monitoring devices, and vital signs collection
