Senior Pharmacy Program Specialist
About The Position
Performs duties to facilitate the filling and dispensing of unit dose, IV and stock medications as it relates to the automated dispensing machines (ADM) and CII Safe, automation vendors (e.g. BD-Carefusion or equivalent). Ensures proper maintenance, filling and dispensing duties are performed for CII Safe and the ADMs on the nursing units and other ancillary departments in a prompt and accurate manner. Requirements
- H.S. Diploma or GED.
- California Pharmacy Technician License upon hire.
- PTCB certification.
- Minimum of 3 years (> 6240 clock hours) of pharmacy practice in an integrated health system and PTCB certification, OR 4 years (> 8320 hours) experience if technician does not have PTCB certification.
Nice To Haves
- Accredited Pharmacy Technician Program coursework/training.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Pharmacy Automation and Technology experience.
