The WTCC Environmental Management team supports the planning, development, implementation and oversite of the Waste Treatment Plant (WTP) procedures and/or work packages that are used to comply with environmental permit requirements including air, wastewater, and dangerous waste. Environmental management support will be required to ensure Plant Operations has technical staff on site to interpret and resolve permit conditions to ensure compliance and to maintain operations in a compliant manner. The Senior Permitting Lead will interface with BNI WTP permitting, WTCC Commissioning, Department of Energy (DOE), and will interact with regulatory agencies to support preparation and completion of permit modifications/reviews and regulatory submittals, review engineering changes for applicability to project environmental permits, licenses, and regulatory requirements; interface with internal organizations to ensure changes are implemented effectively and managed in accordance with environmental requirements, support preparation and submittal of compliance reports and semi-annual and annual permit compliance reporting. The Senior Permitting Lead is expected to be largely self-directed and to interface with environmental and other plant management to assist in development of permitting and compliance strategy and to interact directly, in support of WTCC management, with DOE and the regulators on permitting and permit implementation related issues.
