Senior Performance Engineer
About The Position
The Senior Performance Engineer designs and leads performance testing strategy, frameworks, standards, and best practices across applications, APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms. The role develops and executes multiple forms of performance testing to help ensure application reliability and performance, integrates testing into CI/CD pipelines, and supports continuous performance monitoring and optimization. It also analyzes application, database, infrastructure, and network performance to identify bottlenecks and drive improvements. The position calls for performance engineering expertise, including capacity planning, SRE, root cause analysis, and performance tuning in distributed and cloud-native environments.
Requirements
- Experience in performance testing or performance engineering.
- Strong expertise in Apache JMeter.
- Experience with enterprise-scale performance validation.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Experience with container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
- Experience with observability tools such as Dynatrace, Datadog, or AppDynamics.
- Strong knowledge of performance engineering, capacity planning, SRE, root cause analysis, and performance tuning in distributed and cloud-native environments.

Responsibilities
- Design and lead performance testing strategy, frameworks, standards, and best practices across applications, APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms.

- Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous performance monitoring and optimization.
