About The Position

A Performance Test Engineer with strong hands-on experience in JMeter and k6. The successful candidate will design and execute load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests, analyze results, and recommend fixes. The role involves testing applications, APIs, and backend services; identifying bottlenecks; and supporting benchmarking, capacity planning, and CI/CD integration.

Requirements

• Strong experience in performance testing.
• Deep knowledge of JMeter and k6.
• Three to five years of experience with k6.
• Experience testing APIs across all API architectures and web applications.
• Understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, cookies, sessions, headers, and authentication.
• Ability to analyze logs, metrics, and monitoring data.
• Scripting knowledge in JavaScript, Groovy, or Python.
• Familiarity with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized applications such as EKS.
• Five to twelve years of overall experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience writing code using Java or Python.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain performance test scripts in k6 and JMeter.
• Run load, stress, soak, spike, and endurance tests.
• Test applications, APIs, and backend services.
• Analyze response times, throughput, error rates, CPU, memory, and other metrics.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and work with teams to troubleshoot.
• Define performance goals and success criteria.
• Create performance test reports.
• Support benchmarking and capacity planning.
• Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.
