Senior Performance Analyst Engineer - GMD (Job ID:4674)

Valkyrie Enterprises•Huntsville, AL

About The Position

Valkyrie Enterprises is seeking a Senior Performance Analyst Engineer to support analysis and assessment of Ground-based Missile Defense (GMD) systems for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). The role is contingent upon prime contractor approval. The engineer will develop and maintain analysis tools using MATLAB, Python, and C++ and use modeling and simulation to assess Ground-Based Interceptor (GBI) and Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) performance. The position includes quick-response analysis for the In-Flight Interceptor Communication System Data Terminal (IDT), including kinematic battlespace assessments and other time-sensitive technical analyses. The engineer will assess simulation results, system capabilities, trends, and limitations; support improvements to future analysis capabilities; and communicate findings and recommendations to engineering teams, program leadership, and government stakeholders. The position requires an active Secret clearance and the ability to maintain it. Travel is minimal and is expected to be 10% or less. Candidates who need to travel by domestic flight or access secure federal facilities or military bases must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID, by the start of the position.
