Wealth Recruitment, LLCSunnyvale, CA
$45 - $60Onsite

About The Position

We’re looking for an experienced Senior People Operations Generalist to help build and strengthen the People infrastructure needed to support a rapidly scaling organization. This is not a traditional HR administrative role. You’ll take ownership of critical People Operations processes, Workday systems, employee data, reporting, compliance, and programs, while serving as a trusted escalation point for complex employee matters. You’ll have the opportunity to identify gaps, build better processes, influence cross-functional partners, and create scalable solutions that directly impact employees and leadership. This position will begin part-time on a contract basis, with strong potential to convert to full-time based on business needs and performance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive People Operations or HR Operations experience, including ownership of programs and processes.
  • Hands-on Workday experience is required, with strong fluency in reporting, data, and system-driven People Operations.
  • Demonstrated experience building or improving People analytics, reporting, and dashboards.
  • Strong understanding of employee lifecycle processes, including benefits, leaves, time off, and related programs.
  • Experience navigating employment compliance requirements and identifying operational risk.
  • Proven ability to lead initiatives and influence stakeholders without formal authority.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate People data into meaningful business insights.
  • Excellent judgment when handling confidential, sensitive, or ambiguous employee matters.
  • A proactive ownership mentality—you identify what needs to be improved and drive it forward rather than waiting for direction.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the roadmap for People data, analytics, and reporting, ensuring strong data integrity and actionable insights for leadership.
  • Build and maintain Workday reporting, dashboards, and People data infrastructure used to support business decisions.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex employee matters involving benefits, leaves, time off, rotations, and other People programs.
  • Independently navigate sensitive, ambiguous, and high-impact employee situations using sound judgment.
  • Lead cross-functional People Operations initiatives focused on improving and scaling processes, policies, systems, and programs.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment requirements, proactively identifying potential risks.
  • Partner across the organization to improve operational effectiveness and strengthen the employee experience.
  • Act as a team lead on People Operations projects by establishing priorities, coordinating work, and mentoring junior team members without formal reporting authority.
  • Proactively identify operational gaps and drive solutions before they become larger problems.
  • Maintain clear documentation of People processes, system configurations, workflows, and key decisions.
