About The Position

Honeycomb is seeking a Senior People Business Partner to join their fully distributed team. This role is designed for someone who enjoys working closely with business leaders, partnering on organizational decisions, and implementing people practices that enhance team performance. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting Go-To-Market (GTM) organizations, understanding their unique rhythms like quota cycles and pipeline pressure. A background in deep tech or engineering-led companies is highly valued, along with a builder mentality and a commitment to protecting company culture during growth.

Requirements

  • Partnered with senior leaders, aligned people programs to business strategy, and driven measurable outcomes.
  • Experience supporting technical or GTM teams is a plus.
  • Supported an international GTM Team.
  • Curiosity and a strong desire to delve deep into various areas to identify the root causes of people concerns.
  • Proficient in analyzing people data and developing solutions and insights.
  • Led organizations through change, building alignment, managing resistance, and keeping teams moving forward.
  • Able to identify opportunities and programs that help develop and retain top talent.
  • Skilled in effectively communicating changes to the team.
  • An inclusive partner embedding DEI principles into partnership practices to deliver equitable programs, practices, and policies.
  • Strong people advocate with a collaborative, co-led approach to business partnerships rooted in trust, empathy, vulnerability, and compassion.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-impact people initiatives, including calibrations, compensation reviews, employee surveys, and management development.
  • Support partnership and people strategy decisions, including organization design, workforce planning, succession/transition planning, skills assessment, and compensation.
  • Coach and develop people leaders to build high-performing, high-trust teams, acting as a thought partner for performance issues, culture drift, or complex challenges.
  • Build foundations for high trust, empathy, and psychological safety within teams.
  • Build deep relationships to proactively identify and address potential problems using people data to surface insights and influence leaders.
  • Own critical employee experiences such as performance improvement, employee relations, and off-boarding with care and sound judgment, protecting both the employee and the business.
