Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including experience as a HR Business Partner
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships and influence leaders at multiple levels of an organization
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to connect people strategies to business outcomes
  • Experience supporting organizational design, workforce planning, talent management and leadership development initiatives
  • Strong employee relations experience and the ability to navigate complex people situations with sound judgment and professionalism
  • Excellent coaching, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and balance strategic thinking with practical execution
  • Strong judgment, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in multiple organizations or industries with the ability to apply diverse perspectives and approaches to business challenges
  • Experience partnering with senior leaders within a technology or technology-enabled organization is strongly preferred

Nice To Haves

  • CHRP, CHRL or equivalent professional designation is considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Partner with leaders to understand business priorities, challenges and objectives and translate those into effective people strategies
  • Build trusted relationships with leaders and act as a strategic advisor on talent, team effectiveness, organizational design and workforce planning
  • Coach leaders on leadership effectiveness, employee engagement, accountability and people decision-making
  • Advise leaders on talent, team and organizational decisions, including workforce planning, leadership development, organizational change, performance management and complex employee relations matters.
  • Identify trends, risks and opportunities across teams and provide recommendations that improve organizational effectiveness and business outcomes
  • Act as a connector across teams and functions, helping leaders navigate cross-functional challenges and align people decisions with business priorities
  • Challenge assumptions and influence decision-making by bringing both a people and business lens to discussions
  • Support leaders and teams through periods of growth, change and evolving business needs
  • Partner closely with the Manager, People Programs and Operations and the Talent Acquisition & Employee Experience Lead to ensure People initiatives are effectively implemented and adopted across the organization
  • Use data, insights and business context to proactively identify opportunities and solutions
