Senior Pega Developer

The position requires expertise in developing and modifying computer-based software systems, working closely with agile teams and customers, and ensuring the reliability and availability of Pega's BRE and BPM Platform.

• Provide expertise and direction in the development and/or modification of computer-based software systems
• Design, develop, code, test, and debug software
• Work in areas such as software design, engineering evaluation or test, configuration management procedures, statistical analysis and modeling
• Implement a Pega based case management system with multiple integration and backend services
• Define existing or new system scope and objectives with users
• Provide analytical support and technical advice during the conceptualization, development, and implementation phases
• Plan and schedule new application systems projects
• Identify and document hazards within software systems
• Review and evaluate systems and software for adherence to safety standards and guidelines
• Confirm design mitigations are captured in the design and its documentation and verify implementation
• Lead assigned systems developers/analysts on specific projects
• Ensure reliability and availability of Pega's BRE and BPM Platform
• Create customized flows and action forms to align with business requirements
• Apply business rules to streamline information presented to clients and senior leadership
• Identify reporting requirements for BPM workflows
• Validate code for compliance with standards and Pega Guardrails
• Oversee testing and debugging, identify and mitigate risks or defects
• Collaborate across multiple Agile Release Trains providing expertise and support
• Identify reusable functionality and implement it as a reusable component
• Have exposure to web services (SOAP, RESTful, XML, JSON, etc.)
• Understand PRPC flows, decisions, and rules
• Have knowledge of IT standards, methodologies, system development life cycle, and project management frameworks
• Lift up to 10-15 pounds at times (physical requirement)

• Bachelors degree with 12 years of experience or advanced degree with 10 years of experience
• Active Secret clearance required
• Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA)
• Understanding of BPM, BRE and creating web applications that are process oriented.
• Identifies reusable functionality and implementing it as a reusable component.
• Exposure to web services (SOAP, RESTful, XML, JSON, etc.)
• Understanding of PRPC flows, decisions, and rules
• Knowledge of IT standards, methodologies, system development life cycle and project management frameworks
• Experience in Pega Customer Process Manager (CPM)
• Certified LSA
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at times
