About The Position

The Electronics Engineering Services department is seeking a Sr. Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Designer. This individual will work with engineers and design teams throughout the full product development life cycle. The role requires a self-starter and a team player who can thrive in a dynamic environment. Strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to multitask across various disciplines and tasks are essential.

Requirements

At least 10+ years of experience in PCB design work.
Strong PCB knowledge in Automotive Products and Multilayer PCB with dense populations.
Experience interpreting datasheets and schematics, generating netlists and constraints, and using schematic for layout and routing reference.
Experience in PCB layout design constraints for mixed/RF signal, high speed signal impedance control, memory interfaces and optimization for EMI performance.
Strong communication skills in English.
Able to work well in global teams, including time-zone flexibility.

Nice To Haves

HDI design (blind/buried vias, laser and micro vias) and Windchill PLM knowledge.
Certifications or experience using DXDesigner / Expedition VX2.2 or higher version.

Responsibilities

Design and support printed circuit boards for electronic products from concept through production.
Design and review PCB layouts and schematics to meet electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing requirements.
Support high-speed, high current, analogue, and mixed-signal PCB designs.
Work closely with system, hardware, and mechanical engineers to ensure proper integration.
Ensure designs meet signal integrity, EMC, safety, and reliability requirements.
Enforce process and requirements to ensure no unauthorized changes occur.
Produce ECAD IDF files for Mechanical review, and import and review data from Mechanical CAD system to ensure interface between these two databases is consistent.
Mentor individuals on the team and manage expectations/deliverables with cross-functional stakeholders.
