About The Position

OneTrust is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Payroll Analyst to oversee the full payroll cycle and ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing. This role will lead payroll operations, manage payroll systems, support regulatory compliance, and partner with HR and Finance to maintain efficient payroll practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • 10+ years of hands-on of multi-state payroll experience
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience
  • Strong Knowledge of payroll laws, FLSA, Federal/state/local tax regulations and solid understanding of California Labour Laws
  • Advanced Excel or payroll analytics skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Experience with payroll systems (Workday, CloudPay, “OSV” One Source Virtual)
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, bonus, commission and deductions for US - Bi-Weekly Hourly Payroll, Semi-Monthly Salaried Payroll and Canadian Semi-Monthly Payroll
  • Interpret and implement involuntary garnishments and child support orders
  • Work Closely with HR and Benefit Teams regarding employee changes (Hires, Terminations, Promotions and Benefit deduction changes)
  • Collaborate with accounting for payroll reconciliation
  • Oversee payroll tax filings and reporting done by OSV payroll vendor
  • Register and/or close out state/local jurisdictions as needed
  • Maintain knowledge of payroll legislation and regulatory changes
  • Maintain and optimise payroll systems Workday (US) and CloudPay (Canada)
  • Implement payroll process improvements and automation
  • Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with internal controls and company policy
  • Conduct payroll audits to ensure accuracy
  • Assist with internal and external audits
