About The Position

EnVision Consultants is looking for an experienced, motivated, team-oriented person to join our Geotechnical team as a Senior Pavement Engineer. Ideal candidates will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and problem-solving abilities and demonstrate the capacity to effectively manage internal and external relationships. Requirements

• Engineering degree and licensed as a P.Eng. in Ontario
• 10+ years of experience in pavement engineering or similar field
• A valid G license and access to a vehicle to travel to and from sites (mileage compensated), including valid and appropriate vehicle insurance
• Proven success in client relationship management and strong leadership skills
• Comfortable interacting with the public, clients, contractors, and co-workers
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively and proactively respond to time-sensitive issues

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical lead on pavements and mentor junior and intermediate staff
• Manage, coordinate and provide technical direction to pavement site investigations and laboratory testing programs
• Advance pavement capabilities to suit existing client needs and evaluate additional services
• Undertake analyses and report on investigation findings and provide recommendations
• Ensure high quality of technical work, including field methodology, reporting, and client deliverables
• Foster an atmosphere of continuous improvement
• Proactively commit to creating a positive work environment
• Collaborate with other disciplines at EnVision with respect to multi-disciplinary projects
• Travel to sites within the Greater Toronto Area and Ontario, as needed
• Any other functions assigned as part of your employment
