The position educates patients on the patient portal, manages patient charts, and assists in training new staff. Additionally, it identifies areas for improvement in front desk operations, schedule utilization, and office flow. The role may also assist with coordinating follow-up care, general administrative duties, maintaining waiting areas, and chaperone duties during patient exams.
