About The Position

The Senior Parts Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the shop. This position reports directly to the General Manager (GM) and is responsible for various aspects of parts management, including receiving, distribution, invoicing, returns, ETA monitoring, and supplemental ordering. The role requires proficiency in computer systems and parts ordering software, the ability to read repair orders, and effective communication skills. The position is full-time and operates according to shop hours, with compensation based on a 45-hour work week, up to $25/hr.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Multi-tasker, able to work in high productivity work environment
  • Proficient with computer and parts ordering software
  • Ability to read and understand repair orders
  • Ability to effectively communicate with others
  • Two+ years of related experience
  • Proficient with CCC One

Responsibilities

  • Receive and manage incoming parts deliveries.
  • Match parts accurately to ensure correctness.
  • Distribute parts efficiently within the shop.
  • Process invoices promptly.
  • Handle returns effectively.
  • Keep track of daily updates regarding parts Estimated Time of Arrival (ETAs).
  • Communicate ETA updates to shop personnel as needed by the GM.
  • Order supplemental parts when required.
  • Manage day-of-delivery parts efficiently.
  • Ensure timely posting of invoices.
  • Maintain control over pending credits.
