About The Position

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Partner Solutions Architect (PSA) with specialized expertise in the Manufacturing industry, focusing on Physical AI for Smart Products & Robotics. This role involves shaping AWS's Industry solution strategy within the AWS Partner Network, collaborating with consulting and technology partners to develop repeatable industry solutions for line-of-business use cases. The PSA will publish these solutions across Go-to-Market channels and promote them to Manufacturing Customers globally. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical skills in software architecture, IoT, edge connectivity, digital twins, HPC modeling, AI for smart products and robotics, software deployment, and cloud computing, coupled with customer-facing and technical sales abilities. They should be a strategic thinker, an influencer, and a trusted advisor to partners and customers, driving customer outcomes through partners. Responsibilities include accelerating cloud adoption, modernizing core systems, designing IoT and robotics systems, optimizing industry workflows with ISVs, ensuring security and compliance, and leveraging AI. The role requires working within a global matrixed organization to apply these technologies to solve business problems with repeatable solutions built on AWS.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
  • 5+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years experience working directly with Manufacturing or Industrial customers on cloud and AI adoption, focusing on smart products and/or robotics.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of AWS services, market segments, customer base and industry verticals
  • Master's degree, or PhD and 3+ years of deep learning, computer vision, human robotic interaction, algorithms implementation experience
  • Experience working with partners through account, product or program management and business development engagements
  • Experience with presentations and speaking with executives, IT, management, and developers

Responsibilities

  • Work with partners and customers to develop top of funnel sales opportunities with Manufacturing customers.
  • Partner with Account SAs, Sales, Business Development and service development teams to accelerate customer adoption of partner solutions through enablement, technical architecture, customer workshops.
  • Evangelize partners’ value proposition internally throughout AWS and externally with customers.
  • Establish AWS as the partner’s preferred cloud platform for financial services solutions and services.
  • Work alongside the AWS Partner Development Specialists to develop extensive executive and senior management relationships within partner organizations and become their trusted advisor.
  • Provide the architectural guidance and recommendations necessary to promote successful engagements with partners globally.
  • Assist solution providers with the definition of technical strategies that will enable them to sell more of their offering on the AWS platform.
  • Capture and share best-practice knowledge with our broader Solution Architect community.
  • Share customer feedback to internal product management and engineering teams to help drive the future of AWS.
