About The Position

CACI is seeking a Senior Paralegal to provide litigation support for the Department of Justice, including work on high-profile cases as attorneys prepare for trial. Assignments may evolve to include more complex responsibilities. The position works under the direction of a Supervisory Paralegal or Project Supervisor. Work products are reviewed before submission, though the paralegal often develops them with minimal direct supervision beyond written guidelines. Contact is primarily with support staff, with possible contact with attorneys and trial staff. The role includes legal research, reviewing case materials, preparing legal documents and summaries, conducting witness interviews, and supporting trial preparation and litigation services. The position requires legal research and citation knowledge, strong written and oral communication, proficiency with relevant computer applications and eDiscovery tools, and the ability to deliver accurate, high-quality work under pressure. The role is full-time and contingent on funding; it may not be filled immediately. CACI offers tuition reimbursement for Relativity, ACEDS, and Paralegal certifications, as well as learning resources and a flexible time-off benefit.
