About The Position

The Senior Paralegal for Crocs, Inc., serves as the lead paralegal for the enterprise, providing advanced legal support across corporate governance, litigation, and e-discovery matters. This role partners closely with attorneys and business stakeholders, operates independently in a complex global environment, and provides day-to-day leadership for junior non-attorney staff. This role reports to the GVP, Deputy General Counsel in our Broomfield, Colorado office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; paralegal certification strongly preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive paralegal experience, including significant corporate governance and entity management responsibility.
  • Hands-on experience supporting litigation matters and managing e-discovery processes.
  • Prior experience in an in-house legal department supporting a global, publicly-listed organization.
  • Must be technically savvy, with the ability to independently navigate, troubleshoot, and optimize the use of technology platforms, including document management systems, workflow tools, and enterprise applications. Comfortable handling system-driven processes with minimal assistance. Curiosity about new technologies and willingness to continue learning.
  • Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring junior non-attorney staff.
  • Strong understanding of litigation hold practices, e-discovery tools, and records management requirements.
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills, with high attention to detail.
  • Collegial and cooperative team-focused mindset.
  • Proven ability to exercise sound judgment, handle sensitive information, demonstrate flexibility in the face of changing priorities and operate independently to meet deadlines, while partnering professionally with attorneys and business leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise corporate paralegal activities, including corporate entity management, subsidiary governance, and maintenance of corporate books and records.
  • Support corporate Board of Directors and committee activities through preparation of resolutions, minutes, agenda materials, and corporate authorizations.
  • Provide senior-level litigation support and lead e-discovery execution, including the creation and administration of litigation holds, data collection, document review coordination, and production workflows.
  • Serve as a key liaison with outside counsel and e-discovery vendors to manage timelines and deliverables.
  • Oversee legal operations and compliance support across select enterprise processes, including administration of legal platforms, execution of standard legal agreements, and coordination of cross-functional reporting initiatives.
  • Create and finalize legal forms and basic agreements, such as non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) and commercial co-venturer (CCV) reports, using company templates.
  • Partner with other corporate departments on behalf of Crocs Legal to drive cross-functional risk and compliance projects.
  • Manage and develop junior non-attorney staff by setting priorities, delegating assignments, reviewing work, providing constructive development, and establishing consistent legal processes.
  • Find opportunities to improve and scale legal processes to support the enterprise.
  • Provide additional administrative and operational support to Legal Department as needed.
