About The Position

This position supports the development and maintenance of the Texas Foster Youth Network's (TXFYN) statewide service directory and provider network. The coordinator will engage providers, maintain up-to-date referral information, and support youth- and provider-facing outreach activities. This is a grant-funded position with potential for reassignment based on performance, research progress, and funding continuation. The role requires the ability to work remotely within the state of Texas and requires authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in social work or related field.
At least 5 years of experience with program administration, program coordination, or other related field.
Demonstrated understanding of systems impacting foster youth.
Excellent attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Values the contributions of others in the work environment.
Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer without sponsorship.
Ability to work remotely within the state of Texas.

Responsibilities

Conduct outreach calls, emails, and site visits.
Follow up with providers.
Serve as a point of contact for questions and encourage active participation in the Texas Foster Youth Network (TXFYN).
Attend outreach events, regional meetings, and community fairs to promote the Texas Foster Youth Network (TXFYN), recruit providers, and strengthen community relationships.
Update and maintain the statewide service directory and referral tracking system.
Ensure provider information is accurate, complete, and current.
Support partnership development by preparing materials, scheduling meetings, tracking follow-up tasks, and assisting with Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) coordination.
Assist in the preparation and distribution of outreach materials.
Support provider training efforts through logistics, material development, and attendance tracking.
Collect and report outreach metrics, monitor activity progress, and ensure all provider engagement is trauma-informed, youth-centered, and culturally responsive.
Participate in institute functions such as trainings, supervision, staff meetings, events and other activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
