About The Position

CapTech is seeking a Senior Organizational Change Management Consultant to lead training and change management efforts for an enterprise Workday initiative. This role involves developing and implementing comprehensive strategies for communication, sponsorship, stakeholder engagement, and measurement, leveraging AI-informed approaches and adult learning principles. The consultant will also serve as the OCM contact for the Technology Workstream, focusing on the people side of change across various systems and solutions. The position requires a strong ability to build client relationships, facilitate interactions, and translate data-driven insights into actionable change narratives.

Requirements

  • 10+ years experience delivering enterprise-scale change management within large organizations.
  • Deep experience across the full training life cycle (training needs assessment, strategy and planning, content development, training delivery, and post-training evaluation).
  • Demonstrated progression and growth within the OCM discipline through past career experiences.
  • Knowledge and application of PROSCI and other change management methodologies and tools.
  • ERP implementation experience, with Workday strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to produce and own high quality deliverables that meet client needs, including strategic communications and training materials.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication that is effective to all levels in an organization.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work directly for any employer in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • E-learning/computer-based training (CBT) development experience is a major plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the full training life cycle — training needs assessment, strategy and planning, content development, delivery, and post-training evaluation — for an enterprise Workday initiative.
  • Provide hands-on support and leadership in upskilling business staff who need to learn Workday to support project work, as the primary focus of the role.
  • Develop comprehensive, AI-informed change management and learning strategies encompassing communication, sponsorship, stakeholder engagement, and measurement — leveraging appropriate learning mechanisms (e.g., simulations, self-paced learning, e-learning/computer-based training (CBT), adaptive learning paths, assessments, and exams), aligned to adult learning principles, with clear dependencies, success metrics, and measurable outcomes defined.
  • Develop e-learning/computer-based training (CBT) content and lead adult learning activities, including Train-the-Trainer programs, while enabling instructors and leaders to effectively use learning tools and content.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, including sponsors and other project stakeholders, and act as a trusted advisor while leading enterprise training and change efforts.
  • Facilitate client interactions (e.g., stakeholder interviews, leadership meetings, design sessions, and workshops), incorporating AI-enabled insights and synthesized themes to accelerate decision-making and alignment.
  • Interact and engage with Sponsors and Senior Leaders, translating AI-driven insights into clear change narratives, sponsorship actions, and leadership messaging.
  • Serve as the Organizational Change Management (OCM) contact for the Technology Workstream (a secondary priority), focusing on the people side of change across business processes, systems, technologies, and AI-enabled solutions.
  • Design AI-supported data collection approaches (e.g., surveys, readiness assessments, sentiment analysis, adoption and usage metrics) and analyze qualitative and quantitative data using AI-assisted techniques to develop evidence-based findings, insights, and recommendations.
  • Identify people, readiness, and adoption risks associated with business and technology changes, and develop proactive response strategies informed by risk and trend analysis.
