Senior Oracle Programmer
About The Position
This role requires a Senior Oracle Programmer with a minimum of 4 years of experience in developing test plans, analyzing and testing large volumes of data, and using business knowledge to guide a technical team. The ideal candidate will have experience with the NYS Welfare Management System, NYS Medicaid Claims Processing System, and/or NYCWAY in a technical/analytical capacity. Responsibilities include leading the design of program specifications, implementing software solutions, requirement analysis, design, snowflake data modeling, interactive Dashboard design, and creating complex ad hoc queries and reports. Expertise in OBIEE Analysis, Agent, and Dashboards, including RPD Design and Deployment, Catalog Management, and security is essential. The role also involves working in a large three-tier data warehouse environment, designing and extending data marts, metadata, and data models, and participating in the intake of data from internal and external sources. Expert knowledge of OBIEE 12c, Oracle Portal, Report server, and development is required.
Requirements
- A minimum of 4 years of experience with developing test plans and analyzing and testing large volumes of data
- Experience using business knowledge to guide a technical team
- Experience with the NYS Welfare Management System and/or NYS Medicaid Claims Processing System and/or NYCWAY in a technical/analytical capacity
- Excellent analytical and testing skills
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in clear, non-technical oral and written English
- Experience leading the design of program specifications and the implementation of software solutions
- Experience with requirement analysis, design, snowflake data modeling, interactive Dashboard design and complex ad hoc queries and report
- Experience with OBIEE Analysis, Agent and Dashboards, including RPD Design and Deployment, Catalog Management and security
- Experience working in a large three tier data warehouse environment
- Experience with design and extension of data marts, metadata, and data models
- Experience participating in the intake of data from both internal and outside sources
- Expert knowledge of OBIEE 12c, Oracle Portal, Report server and development
