Senior Oracle EBS Technical Consultant
About The Position
Altech Solutions is hiring a Senior Oracle EBS Technical Consultant to support our FFRDC customer in the Los Angeles area. This is a full-time, 12-month contract position with excellent benefits. The role involves working within the Enterprise IT Services group on the Oracle Project Accounting suite, collaborating with the Lead Enterprise Systems Analyst. Responsibilities include gathering requirements from finance stakeholders, conducting fit-gap analyses, mapping workflows, recommending configuration changes, building and retrofitting interfaces, APIs, and data loaders, writing and tuning SQL and PL/SQL, supporting custom extensions like Form Personalizations, and managing application issues from diagnosis to resolution and Oracle Service Request closure. The consultant will also be responsible for functional and technical design documentation, supporting testing and user training, and providing bi-weekly status reports.
Requirements
- Deep hands-on Oracle EBS R12.2.x experience across implementation, upgrades, patching, enhancements, and integrations
- Oracle Financials depth — AP, PO, PA, FA, GL, and SLA — with real Project Accounting ownership
- Strong SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning
- Experience with Oracle Workflow, XML/BI Publisher, Oracle Reports, Oracle Forms, Concurrent Programs, and Unix/Linux scripting
- Experience with OAF, personalizations, DFF/KFF, FNDLOAD, alerts, and AOL components
- Experience supporting month-end and year-end close, reconciliations, audit requirements, and financial reporting
- Familiarity with REST APIs
- US citizenship or lawful permanent residence (green card) is required
- This is a federal contract position and the requirement is non-negotiable

Nice To Haves
- Working knowledge of GIT, Informatica, OBIEE, Oracle APEX, SQL Developer or TOAD, custom data extractors, and data warehouse solutions
- JIRA and GitHub is a plus
Responsibilities
