Senior Oracle EBS Consultant (ODM/MRP)
About The Position
Altech Solutions is hiring a Senior Oracle EBS Consultant to support our FFRDC customer in the Los Angeles area. This role is within the Enterprise IT Services group, focusing on Oracle Discrete Manufacturing, particularly the Common Inventory implementation. The consultant will partner with the Lead Enterprise Systems Analyst to gather requirements, conduct fit-gap analyses, map workflows, and recommend standard Oracle functionality. Responsibilities include writing and tuning SQL and PL/SQL, building and retrofitting interfaces, APIs, and data loaders, supporting custom extensions, and troubleshooting issues. The role also involves producing design documentation, supporting testing and training, and reporting status.
Requirements
- Two or more Common Inventory implementations delivered as part of broader ODM/MRP deployments in Oracle EBS R12
- Deep functional and technical expertise in Oracle Discrete Manufacturing, including Inventory and Oracle Master Scheduling/MRP
- Expert-level command of ODM/MRP inventory setup steps, profile options, and system parameters
- Comprehensive understanding of the ODM lifecycle — BOM, Inventory, WIP, MRP, Purchasing, and Costing — and the upstream and downstream integration points between them
- Proven ability to map and fit complex as-is business processes into standard EBS functionality
- Strong Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Form Personalization, custom.pll, and BI Publisher reporting
- US citizenship or lawful permanent residence (green card) is required.

Responsibilities

- Produce the functional and technical design documentation
- Support testing and user training
- Report status bi-weekly
