About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a Senior Oracle Database Administrator for a hybrid role with a Global Financial Institution in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract position requiring a minimum of 3 days per week onsite. The role is for a seasoned professional with extensive experience in administering large-scale Oracle databases, focusing on performance tuning, troubleshooting, and managing Oracle Golden Gate multi-master replication.

Requirements

10+ years of Oracle Database Administration experience
5+ years of experience supporting Oracle RAC on UNIX environments
Experience with Oracle performance and tuning
Experience with Oracle 19c and Oracle 23ai
Experience with Oracle GoldenGate, including configuration and upgrades to 23ai
Experience building and supporting Oracle Dataguard
Proficiency in shell scripting and Perl
Experience with standard Oracle tools such as OEM, Toad, and SQL Developer

Nice To Haves

DBA experience in financial institutions

Responsibilities

Support large-scale Oracle database environments on UNIX
Perform in-depth performance tuning and troubleshooting
Set up and manage Oracle Golden Gate multi-master replication
Build and support Oracle Dataguard environments
Upgrade Oracle RAC 19c/23AI and GoldenGate 23AI environments
Participate in on-call pager duty rotation
