About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior or Lead Project Management Specialist to join our growing Patriot Advance Capability (PAC-3) program across the portfolio in Huntsville, Alabama. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)

Requirements

More than 5 years of experience managing projects or programs
More than 5 years of experience in a leadership role, leading teams or projects to successful completion
Experience preparing executive-level briefings
Experience working in a manufacturing/production environment
Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
U.S. Citizenship required for security clearance
Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements
Must be a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree or higher
More than 5 years of experience leading cross functional teams
More than 5 years of experience in change management, program planning, project management, integrated scheduling, Industrial Engineering or Business Operations
More than 5 years of experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
Experience in production facility optimization / rearrangement
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

Responsibilities

Responsible for being the program lead integrator through multi-year factory optimization & rearrangement
Responsible for scope execution (cost, technical, and schedule), briefings, tag-ups, and events in support of program requirements
Integrates all internal and external stakeholders to complete the project scope
Scope includes but is not limited to planning, procurement, coordination, customer approvals, and first article execution
Leads others and directs all phases of assigned cross-organizational or business unit projects demonstrating proficiency in all project management areas in accordance with accepted project management standards in the industry (e.g., PMI, Project Management Body of Knowledge [PMBOK], ANSI, and ISO standards)
