Senior Operator Readiness Advisor
About The Position
As a Senior Operator Readiness Advisor, you will help manage desk-specific training programs from onboarding through desk certification. Working closely with trainees, SMEs, and Operations leaders, you will develop and facilitate training, monitor operator progress, identify readiness gaps, and continuously improve learning experiences to prepare operators for real-world operating conditions. Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in reliability coordination, generation and interchange, balancing and dispatch, or related control room operations.
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Familiarity with NERC, FERC, or similar compliance frameworks.
Nice To Haves
- NERC Reliability Coordinator Certification.
- Training, coaching, or Learning & Development experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead desk-specific onboarding, on-the-job training (OJT), and qualification programs.
- Develop and facilitate cohort-based training and readiness activities.
- Track trainee progress and address learning gaps.
- Partner with Operations leadership and subject matter experts (SMEs) to improve training effectiveness.
- Incorporate operational lessons learned into continuous learning training content and simulations.
