About The Position

CriminalRecordCheck.com is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Operations Researcher to join our Employment Screening team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing specialized and multi-step research assignments, including criminal monitoring products, sanctions reviews, escalated criminal hits, and in-house work products. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced remote environment, enjoys investigative research, and is committed to accuracy, confidentiality, and meeting deadlines.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience working remotely in a prior role
Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Zoom, Teams, email, and other communication tools
Must reside in North Carolina
Must have a private home office with high-speed internet and ethernet access

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in background screening or a related field preferred

Responsibilities

Conduct public records research through Federal, State, and County court systems
Process criminal monitoring and sanctions-related work products
Review and analyze vendor and court information for accuracy and compliance
Contact courts via phone, email, or fax to obtain additional information
Assist with escalations, review, and release activities as needed
Maintain production and turnaround time expectations with a high level of accuracy
Support and train Operations Research Team staff when necessary
Ensure compliance with FCRA standards, state restrictions, and client requirements
