About The Position

The Senior Operations Manager is responsible for the overall performance, leadership, and continuous improvement of warehouse operations. This role owns the systems, people, and processes required to deliver safe, high-quality, and on-time fulfillment. The Senior Operations Manager builds a disciplined culture where people are proud to work, expected to contribute, and held to a standard. Resulting in a workplace that improves lives (both for employees and customers) through meaningful, disciplined work.

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years in warehouse, fulfillment, or operations leadership
  • Proven experience leading leaders (not just frontline employees)
  • Strong background in process improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent)
  • Experience managing performance through metrics and KPIs

Nice To Haves

  • Experience scaling operations
  • WMS and systems implementation experience
  • Multi-shift or high-volume fulfillment environment

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end warehouse operations: Receiving, Inventory, Fulfillment, Facilities, and Equipment
  • Accountable for achieving all Core Objectives: Safety, Quality, On-Time Shipping, Continuous Improvement, and Culture
  • Communicate performance, risks, and corrective actions clearly to leadership
  • Lead and develop Operations Manager, Operations Support Manager, Shift Manager(s), Assistant Managers, and Facilities Manager
  • Establish clear expectations, accountability, and consistency for the team
  • Coach leaders to manage performance, address issues quickly, and uphold standards
  • Build bench strength and succession plans for all key roles
  • Ensure all core processes have documented, implemented, and maintained Standard Work
  • Audit adherence to Standard Work and address gaps immediately
  • Eliminate reliance on tribal knowledge and strong individual performers
  • Reinforce that disciplined execution enables stability and improvement
  • Build a culture where Continuous Improvement is expected at all levels
  • Develop leaders and teams to identify waste, solve problems, and improve processes
  • Ensure regular implementation of improvements that measurably impact Safety, Quality, and Productivity
  • Balance efficiency gains without degrading the employee experience
  • Use data to drive decisions and track year-over-year improvements
  • Build and maintain a disciplined, high-performance culture where employees are expected to contribute, take ownership, and consistently meet or exceed defined performance and behavioral standards.
  • Foster an environment where people take pride in their work and push each other to improve.
  • Ensure gaps in performance or behavior are addressed promptly through coaching, performance improvement plans, or appropriate support, including reasonable accommodations where applicable.
  • Ensure managers are actively coaching, documenting, and developing their teams
  • Own capacity planning to ensure staffing, scheduling, and labor allocation consistently meet shipping timelines and volume demands
  • Plan and prepare for seasonal peaks and business growth without compromising Safety, Quality, or On-Time Shipping performance
  • Oversee capital planning for equipment and facility needs, ensuring resources support current operations and future scalability
  • Ensure facility is safe, organized, and well-maintained aligned with the owners expectations
  • Oversee preventative maintenance programs and equipment reliability
  • Continuously improve layout, workflow, and ergonomics to support Safety, Quality, and operational efficiency
  • Ensure all operational decisions support delivering a high-quality product aligned with the vision of The Good and the Beautiful
  • Reinforce the connection between operational performance and customer experience
  • Build a workplace that improves lives through meaningful, disciplined work
