About The Position

JLL is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Operations Manager to play a critical role in managing day-to-day operations, optimizing efficiency, and driving strategic initiatives to meet organizational objectives. This role involves overseeing operational activities, implementing strategies to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction, and providing leadership to the local operations team. The position also focuses on people experience through learning and development programs, business intelligence for data-driven decision-making, risk and safety compliance, process optimization, and technology integration to improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, business administration, operations management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the construction management, project management, or architecture field.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Proven track record in driving process improvements, operational efficiency, and performance optimization.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Experience in learning and development, business intelligence, risk management, process optimization, and technology integration.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and optimize operational activities within the market to ensure efficient processes.
  • Implement operational strategies and initiatives to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide effective leadership and management for the local operations team, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and teamwork within the operations department.
  • Contribute to the development of materials and implement learning and development programs to enhance the skills of operations team members.
  • Identify training needs and facilitate training sessions in conjunction with national teams.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure the operational team is equipped with the latest knowledge and skills.
  • Drive a culture of continuous learning, performance feedback, and career development within the local teams.
  • Utilize business intelligence tools and analytics to drive data-informed decision-making within operations.
  • Report and measure key performance metrics, using dashboards and reports to monitor operational performance.
  • Conduct analysis of operational data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business intelligence insights into actionable strategies and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, implementing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Promote good catch and near miss reporting programs and include safety monitoring in reporting.
  • Collaborate with teams to promote awareness of incident reporting policies and investigations.
  • Encourage knowledge of risk management processes and implement controls to minimize their impact.
  • Report status of risk reviews and manage regular updates in partnership with national teams.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and implement measures to optimize operations and reduce costs.
  • Contribute to the implementation and documentation of best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage technology for operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to evaluate, select, and implement technology solutions.
  • Drive the adoption of technology tools and systems, ensuring proper training and support.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and automation within operations.
