The Jewish Federation of Cincinnati (JFC) is seeking a Senior Operations Manager. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
  • Exceptional operational track record: proven ability to create and implement business systems and processes.
  • Passion and proven track record for finding multivalent operational problems and challenges in complex businesses, and fixing them.
  • Proven ability to create, maintain, and improve technology-enabled client process and procedure that works for clients and for the team that is delivering service.
  • Background in developing analytics for systems, process, and their intersections with finance.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, meticulous attention to detail and follow-up.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills to develop strategies that help overcome departmental challenges and enhance the organization’s performance.
  • Self-starter with demonstrated ability to set goals, tasks and timetables and manage workflow.
  • Must be organized, detailed and have ability to multi-task.
  • Entrepreneurial, can-do attitude.
  • Ability to work in and build strong collaborative teams, both internally and externally.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across departments and disciplines to deliver projects focused on delivering excellence to clients.

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, and various electronic communication tools.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with organizational strategy, commitments and goals.
  • Develop project plans, resource allocation, and timelines.
  • Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
  • Direct assigned project teams ensuring effective utilization of resources.
  • Report on the progress of projects to all stakeholders.
  • Provide detailed organizational communication plans when clinical operations are impacted.
  • Manage the organization's effort to continuously improve client operations, internally and externally.
  • Establish robust client relationship management practices and systems.
  • Manage grant application processes.
  • Oversee grant reporting and data management.
  • Work with the M&E team on alignment of metrics.
  • Lead, manage, and train in systems transitions within multiple systems over the next 4 years.
  • Manage the Operations Manager who handles the day-to-day details of Cincy Journeys, including application and payments processing, and tracking, reporting & analysis of data.
  • Manage the Data Systems Administrator, overseeing customer service and user support related to data operations, CRMs, and/or fundraising platforms.
  • Oversee donor database, grants management database, and reporting across the organization.
  • Ensure data hygiene.
  • Work closely with Development, Community Planning & Engagement, Jewish Community Relations Council, Finance, HR and Marketing on various initiatives.
  • Manage Cross-Functional Committees.
  • Oversee development operations including donor relations, gifts management, and acknowledgement letters.
  • Manage collections.
  • Oversee reporting for Annual giving (including Directed Giving) and Endowments.
  • Manage restricted endowment distributions.
  • Oversee marketing operations.
  • Involvement in Chai Committee.
