About The Position

Genetec is currently seeking a Senior Operations Data Analyst for its Customer Experience (CX) organization. We are seeking a dynamic and responsive individual who can thrive in a fast-paced and lively environment and transform complex data into actionable insights. In this role, the candidate will support the CX Shared Services (CXSS) team as a key contributor to the entire lifecycle of reporting and analytics efforts—from gathering requirements and extracting data to creating and delivering automated reports. This role will help Genetec’s CX organization distinguish itself by providing its team members with detailed metrics, in-depth and accurate data analysis and calculations, and clear presentations that drive decision-making. These reports, analyses, and presentations will be closely related to the performance of our CX operations, whose data will be sourced from different systems’ databases (CRM, ERP, Web Portal, IVR, Chat, etc.). This role requires strong skills in data integration, validation, and interpretation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Finance, or Business with an operational analysis background, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of relevant working experience
  • 3+ years of experience working in reporting or analytics
  • Excellent analytical and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Possess good time management and prioritization skills

  • Be able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • Motivated to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Fluent in French and English, both verbal and written (this role requires interaction with our international collaborators and customers)
  • Advanced Power BI Desktop and intermediate Power BI Service knowledge
  • Strong proficiency in DAX (Data Analytics Expressions)
  • Experience with data extraction and manipulation with the use of SQL queries, CRM Advanced Find, and existing Power BI reports
  • Familiar with database and data warehousing concepts
  • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft suite (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of CRM and Finance & Operations systems (MS Dynamics 365) is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Gather requirements for analysis, reports, and presentations from various stakeholders within the CX organization and translate them into technical specifications
  • Design and deliver reports, KPIs, and visualizations, ensuring data integrity across multiple sources
  • Extract, compile, and aggregate data from multiple data sources to be presented in an easy and intuitive format, which will be displayed in reports and presentations
  • Compile the requirements of recurring reports for their automation in Power BI, and assist with their testing once developed
  • Develop and execute test plans, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve BI reports and dashboards
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and internal technical teams (e.g., Digital Information) to ensure timely delivery of data models, clear communication, and resolution of blockers
  • Support the generation of timely and ad-hoc reports based on data from different sources
  • Work in collaboration with different departments to ensure accuracy of the reports
  • Work on multiple initiatives at once and prioritize tasks according to the upcoming deliverables
