As a Senior Operations Coordinator, you will work Sunday-Thursday (6PM-Finish). Our Senior Operations Coordinator earn an hourly wage of $27.18 per hour. Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of experience in warehouse and delivery procedures required.
  • Excellent communication both verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent telephone and customer service ability.
  • Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Intermediate computer skills with proficiency in programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
  • Problem solving and critical thinking abilities to solve problems of intermediate scope.
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to support others in the department and division.
  • High school diploma or GED/equivalent required.

Responsibilities

  • Providing administrative support to the Warehouse leadership team to comply with DOT requirements and division policies.
  • Preparing and processing routine forms, reports, and documents (inbound documents, outbound documents, discrepancy reports, stock and damage claims, time sheets, requisitions, shipping labels, etc.) following standard procedures.
  • Escalating to the warehouse team when operations are out of compliance.
  • Communicating with internal and external customers to support staff and customer needs.
  • Responding to inquiries and telephone calls.
  • Responding to requests by researching information.
  • Collecting, tracking, and inputting data on relevant operations metrics to support tracking warehouse performance, including shorts, mispicks, dump/damage, service level, associate over-time.
  • Highlighting results to managers and supporting efforts to increase metrics.
  • Supporting in training and developing junior clerical teammates.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager.
  • Scheduling receiving appointments with vendors for all inbound freight according to warehouse capacities to optimize inbound warehouse functioning and assess how inbound freight functioning can be improved.
  • Preparing and updating Delivery Appointment sheet daily for receiving department.
  • Optimizing schedule over time to maximize warehouse efficiency.
  • Managing inbound freight processes by performing inbound driver check-in and check-out and resolving or escalating any issues that arise.
  • Ensuring warehouse readiness for receiving by assigning receiving doors for inbound carriers.
  • Preparing purchase orders for receiving and confirming purchase orders.
  • Checking returns and credit slips and assembling returned orders for proper return to picking slot.
  • Investigating picking errors and finding missing products.
  • Supporting efforts to minimize errors and returns with the warehouse team.
  • Interacting with warehouse personnel to solve selecting and shipping issues.
  • Escalating issues to the warehouse team and working with them to prevent issues.
  • Completing outbound paperwork and reports including documents for selecting crew, route loading, drivers, and trucks received at night.
  • Updating the master storage report.
