About The Position

This role involves managing logistics and operations to ensure the efficient transportation and delivery of fish products. The Senior Operations Associate will coordinate with various teams, vendors, and logistics partners to optimize workflows, manage inventory, mitigate supply chain risks, and support cost optimization initiatives. A key aspect of the role is maintaining and improving internal databases and ERP systems, and collaborating with the engineering team on new technology development to enhance business processes.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in operating roles
Strong food industry knowledge
Comfortable making quick decisions with high levels of ambiguity
Hunger for high-intensity, high-quality, high-value work
Meticulous attention to detail
Excellent communicator with strong writing and verbal skills

Responsibilities

Develop and implement logistical strategies for efficient fish transportation.
Coordinate with logistics partners to limit errors and increase delivery speed.
Monitor and manage inventory levels for timely product delivery.
Coordinate with Sales, Procurement, and Marketing teams regarding orders and timelines.
Work closely with processing vendors to ensure order accuracy.
Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to improve daily operations.
Manage workflows and projects from start to finish, informing stakeholders.
Identify workflow inefficiencies and develop solutions.
Manage and evaluate vendor relationships (processing, logistics, packaging).
Support cost optimization initiatives while maintaining quality.
Maintain and optimize internal databases and ERP systems for accurate inventory and costing.
Lead development of new tools and technologies with the engineering team.
