About The Position

This position is for a Senior Operations Administrator on the 3rd shift at the New London Prepared Plant. The role involves performing physical and visual inspections of products and plant systems, documenting results, and taking corrective action. It also requires ensuring personal and food safety, including record-keeping and supporting HACCP, SQF, and other food safety protocols. The administrator will support the calculation of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) by gathering and entering data, create and maintain Performance Boards, take inventories, monitor inspection lots, and support employees and supervisors in the system. The role also involves providing and monitoring operations workflow through the design of workflows and procedures, and acting as a liaison between plant leadership and the workforce to communicate processes, programs, problem-solving, and operational results. The position requires understanding and complying with all company policies, procedures, and work rules, and working as a team to cover vacations. It is a full-time role, eligible for overtime pay and paid weekly.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree preferred.
  • 2 plus years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong organization, verbal, and written skills.
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Excel, Access, and Word systems.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to situations.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.
  • Ability to gather and analyze information quickly and determine skillfully, with the ability to develop alternative solutions.
  • Must be able and willing to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able and willing to work in wet conditions and cold temperatures at approximately 35 degrees.
  • Must be able and willing to withstand a loud noise–work environment.
  • Must be able and willing to perform any other work as assigned by management.
