Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is seeking a Senior Oncology Sales Specialist, Solid Tumor GU for the territory of Richmond, Virginia Beach, Roanoke, and Charlottesville, VA. This role is a Field Based position reporting to a District Manager. The Senior Oncology Sales Specialist will be responsible for fulfilling sales strategies by selling current and potential new oncology therapeutics. This includes demonstrating a working knowledge of the products' clinical efficacy, providing clinical support/information as needed, and achieving their sales quota. The role involves conducting business analysis, actively prospecting for new business, developing account strategies with the District Manager to increase sales, and developing customer-specific pre- and post-call plans. Building customer dedication, influencing decision-makers with targeted sales messages based on accurate clinical information, and executing local marketing strategies are key. The specialist will also use resources appropriately and collaborate with JNJ Innovative Medicine team members. A strong knowledge of assigned specialty products, their related markets (clinical, technical, health economics), the healthcare delivery system within assigned accounts, reimbursement, Managed Care organizations, Specialty Pharmacies, and new treatment modalities is required. The role also includes attending sales meetings, completing training, and managing administrative responsibilities efficiently, including healthcare compliance, expense reporting, and call reporting.
