About The Position

The Senior OIC Integration Developer works as part of Oracle NetSuite’s Technical Solutions Team, a cross-team group of Integration Architects and Developers supporting customer integrations. The position focuses primarily on Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), while the broader team also uses other iPaaS solutions—including Boomi, Celigo, and MuleSoft—and point-to-point integration methods. The team provides subject-matter expertise and consulting services to strategic NetSuite customers worldwide and supports customers through implementation and post-go-live services. Using client requirements and designs and specifications from Integration Architects and Technical Leads, the developer builds and finalizes integration designs, including data flows and mappings; finalizes technical specifications; estimates work and target completion dates; develops and tests solutions; documents and packages solutions for deployment; and troubleshoots and remediates issues. The role also contributes to the integration practice by mentoring developers, creating practice collateral, assisting with training and development, and promoting leading practices. The position requires extensive hands-on OIC and integration development, including experience with high-volume processing, error management, authentication, and data encryption. Additional desired experience spans Oracle and NetSuite development tools, integration platforms, data extraction and modeling, ETL, SQL tuning, and release management or Agile practices. Modest to moderate travel may be required, as appropriate.

Requirements

At least 5 years of hands-on development of OIC integrations across multiple industries and systems.
Experience with parallel processing and concurrency management for high-volume integrations.
Experience with error management and resolution.
Experience with authentication methods and best practices.
Experience with data encryption.
At least 8 years of hands-on integration development experience.
At least 5 years of technical consulting experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to work hands-on with technology and present concepts effectively at different levels within a customer’s and/or partner’s organization.
Strong analytical skills.
Demonstrated ability to understand end-to-end business process flows.
Experience with the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Ability to work independently, multitask, and lead others with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and/or Oracle Data Transforms (ODT) experience.
Experience developing and optimizing NetSuite SuiteScript, JavaScript, or NetSuite SuiteCloud Developer solutions.
Experience developing and optimizing NetSuite SuiteTalk, SOAP integrations, or REST integrations.
Demonstrated expertise in performance, integrations, and/or technical architecture.

Responsibilities

Build and finalize integration designs, including data flows and data mappings, based on client requirements and designs from Integration Architects and Technical Leads.
Finalize technical specifications.
Provide estimates and target completion dates.
Develop solutions that meet design and specification requirements.
Conduct thorough unit testing across identified use cases.
Document solutions and package them for deployment to customer environments.
Troubleshoot and remediate integration issues.
Develop new integrations and troubleshoot client issues related to the NetSuite platform.
Develop, implement, optimize, and maintain NetSuite solutions to meet customer needs, exercising independent judgment.
Apply Oracle methodology, company procedures, and documented processes and leading practices.
Mentor new developers, develop integration-practice collateral, assist with training and development, and foster leading practices.
