About The Position

Planet Technologies, the Nationâ€™s leading Microsoft services provider to the public sector, is looking for a highly motivated individual to join their growing team as a Senior Office 365 Architect. In this role, you will be supporting impactful projects that benefit our country. The Architect will be responsible for the scope, assessment, design, testing, and technical documentation for the implementation, support, and migration of enterprise cloud solutions. The incumbent will possess and maintain expertise in Microsoft 365 platforms utilizing the knowledge to inspire and inform customers, coworkers, and strategic partners on innovative solutions to address business requirements.

Has ownership stake in the successful technical delivery of complex projects in large enterprise environments
Has ownership stake in the delivery of the scope while assisting in managing customer expectations
Must have real-world, hands-on experience delivering messaging and collaboration solutions utilizing Microsoft Exchange and Office 365 within large complex environments, including extensive hybrid and third-party migration experience.
Subject matter expert for Microsoft Entra ID, Exchange Online, Exchange Online Protection (EOP), Teams Voice, and other O365 workloads.
Experience with Microsoft Security Stack: Defender for Office 365, Defender for Identity, Defender for Cloud Apps, Entra ID, Microsoft Purview Information Protection, Data Loss Prevention and Compliance Center Experience including â€“ Litigation Hold, Retention, and eDiscovery.
Must have real-world experience helping to managing and maintaining AD, GPO's, On-Premises Active Directory Migrations.
US Citizenship (clearable) is required.

Responsibilities

Surface and analyze customer business requirements.
Translate requirements into an Architectural design and influence the deployment of key infrastructure components
Design, construct, configure, and maintain all facets of a Microsoft 365 tenant
Plan and execute an end-to-end implementation of Microsoft 365 infrastructure workloads
Maintain a thorough understanding of existing and emerging Microsoft 365 and related core technologies
Participate in presales calls and activities
Provide leadership across practice areas
Help internal sales team provide solutions to customers requirements
Proactively help customers make more complex decisions around features and capabilities
Identify, scope, and refer opportunities for additional sales for Planet provided services and offerings
Lead internal technical communities and present new technologies
Provide process improvement or standardization on elements that will have broad impact
Lead and provide strategic vision to large technical teams on complex projects
