About The Position

Make your mark at WD-40 CompanyWe’re in the middle of one of the most ambitious ERP transformations in our company’s history — and we’re looking for a collaborative and analytically sharp Solutions Architect who thrives on complex, high-stakes challenges. This is not a maintenance role. You’ll be the highest-level technical authority on our D365 F&O platform, owning architecture decisions that directly shape WD-40’s global digital backbone. As a Solutions Architect focused on Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O), you will be the technical thought leader responsible for defining, optimizing, and governing our ERP architecture across a globally distributed team spanning the US, UK, India, and beyond. With the Americas implementation nearly complete and a full EMEA rollout launching in early 2027, you’ll be stepping into a role with real momentum — and real problems left to solve. You’ll partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders, implementation specialists, and external ISVs to deliver integrated, scalable, and forward-thinking solutions that power WD-40’s next phase of global growth. If you’re a seasoned technical architect who loves owning hard problems, collaborating across cultures and time zones, and building solutions that scale globally — and you’re ready to do that inside a company that actually respects your time — we’d love to hear from you. This is a remote role with an opportunity to work from anywhere in the US. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. and should not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of progressive experience in ERP architecture, design, development, and optimization.
  • 5+ years of hands-on architecture experience specifically with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O (both Finance and Operations), including full F&O functional coverage — procurement, sales, finance, and manufacturing — as well as ISV integrations and enterprise-scale, multi-country implementations.
  • Solid understanding of multi-system data flows in complex, global environments.
  • Proven success translating business requirements into technical strategies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills — equally comfortable working with developers, business process leads, and executive stakeholders across multiple countries and cultures. This role requires someone who proactively engages, asks the right questions, and drives clarity across a globally distributed team.
  • An analytically sharp, intellectually engaged problem-solver who digs into complexity, evaluates trade-offs rigorously, and is energized by the challenge of scaling a global ERP environment — not someone looking to coast.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across cultural boundaries — experience with global ERP rollouts involving teams or end users in multiple countries or regions is strongly preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Enterprise Architecture certifications (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Shape the future of WD-40’s ERP ecosystem, designing scalable and secure architecture across a complex, multi-region environment as we expand from the Americas and Australia into EMEA and beyond.
  • Serve as the bridge between business vision and technical execution, aligning D365 platform capabilities with organizational goals.
  • Lead end-to-end architectural planning, including data flow, integrations (Salesforce, Atlas, SnapLogic, etc.), system connectivity, and the strategic balance between standardized global templates and country-specific requirements.
  • Collaborate actively with implementation specialists, business process leads, developers, and global business stakeholders to translate requirements into sound architectural decisions — asking the right questions, surfacing trade-offs, and driving alignment across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Guide integration of third-party ISVs, ensuring seamless alignment with enterprise architecture.
  • Provide technical leadership during implementation, including code reviews, design standards, and governance.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, evaluating new features and managing platform upgrades.
  • Serve as the highest-level escalation point for complex technical issues, with occasional on-site travel to global locations (approximately 4 weeks per year) to support go-lives, resolve critical issues, and collaborate with regional teams across different cultures and time zones.
  • Champion best practices in system performance, security, and compliance.

  • profit sharing
  • annual cash incentive rewards
  • tuition reimbursement
  • 401K match
  • short-day Fridays
  • vacation time
  • paid holidays
  • an additional paid week off between Christmas and the new year
