Ensono
•$116,000 - $168,000•Remote

About The Position

Ensono is hiring a Senior Offering Manager to evolve and commercialize its Mainframe as a Service (MFaaS) portfolio. The role translates existing and emerging AI, platform, and vendor capabilities into productized, monetized managed services; it does not define core AI capabilities. The manager will update service definitions, pricing models, packaging, and positioning to match market demand and client value, guiding the portfolio from custom delivery toward repeatable, scalable offers with clear economic models. The position owns the commercialization roadmap and product lifecycle across the MFaaS portfolio, including service evolution, cost-to-serve and pricing frameworks, SKU structures, packaging tiers, proposal constructs, and sales guidance. It connects technical capabilities to client-facing value propositions and measurable outcomes, while ensuring offerings are profitable, operationally supportable, differentiated, and ready to scale. The manager works across Product, Pricing, Finance, Engineering, Architecture, Delivery/Operations, Sales, and technology partners. Responsibilities include assessing vendor capabilities, turning next-generation mainframe features such as Telum and Spyre into marketable services, enabling outcomes-led sales, gathering customer and market insights, and aligning what is sold with how it is priced and delivered. Ensono encourages remote work for associates not required to work at a client site; associates may work from home or Ensono offices. The role is described as full-time, with a good-faith annual pay range of $116,000–$168,000. Eligible additional compensation may include an annual performance bonus and an equity grant.

Requirements

  • 7–10+ years in Product Management, Offer Management, or Service Portfolio Management, with ownership of commercial offer development in managed services or technology services.
  • Managed services background, with strong experience across mainframe, infrastructure, or SRE services and understanding of how managed service offers are structured, sold, and delivered.
  • Proven experience productizing services from custom to standardized and developing or influencing costing and pricing models.
  • Commercial and financial acumen, including cost-to-serve modeling, pricing strategy, and margin optimization.
  • Ability to translate technical capabilities into clear packaging and sellable value propositions for both technical and business audiences.
  • Understanding of automation and AI efficiencies sufficient to reshape cost-to-serve and service design; the role applies AI to commercialization rather than defining underlying AI capabilities.
  • Experience working across Product, Finance, and Delivery and driving alignment among them.
  • Clear communication skills and ability to lead cross-functional meetings and establish decisions and ownership.
  • Ownership mindset, including driving roadmaps, managing dependencies, and proactively resolving blockers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Vendor ecosystem familiarity, including IBM, ISVs, observability, security, and DevOps tooling.
  • Familiarity with next-generation mainframe platform capabilities, such as Telum, Spyre, or embedded AI processing.

Responsibilities

  • Adapt and refine existing managed service offerings to reflect new platform capabilities and AI-enabled delivery improvements.
  • Update and maintain service descriptions, SOW constructs, and feature definitions.
  • Keep offerings relevant, clearly defined, differentiated, and grounded in customer need, market timing, and Ensono’s competitive position.

  • Build and maintain pricing frameworks, SKU structures, packaging tiers, and bundles.
  • Ensure offerings are profitable, repeatable, and defensible in the market.
  • Productize services into clear sellable offerings, including core and add-on capabilities, tiered service levels, and optional enhancements.
  • Translate technical capabilities into client-understandable value propositions and measurable business outcomes.
  • Develop standardized proposal constructs and pricing guidance for Sales.
  • Own and maintain the commercialization roadmap across the MFaaS portfolio, prioritizing work by customer impact, commercial potential, and delivery feasibility.
  • Manage the product lifecycle from ideation through commercial availability to retirement.
  • Assess third-party vendor capabilities for integration fit, differentiation, and margin impact; define their packaging, pricing, monetization, and positioning.
  • Manage product-level relationships with key technology partners and maintain a cohesive Ensono value layer across vendor-dependent services.
  • Identify industry use cases for new platform capabilities and translate hardware and software advancements into service features and revenue streams.
  • Work with Engineering and Architecture to ensure offerings are deployable, operationally supported, and scalable.
  • Develop product positioning, messaging, sales enablement materials, and offer definitions for pipeline and deal structuring.
  • Partner with Sales to promote outcomes-led selling of standardized offerings and support deals with pricing guidance and packaging recommendations.
  • Conduct customer discovery, monitor the competitive landscape, and turn market signals into roadmap and packaging decisions.
