The Senior Nursing Manager will be responsible for the oversight and monitoring of Agency RNs & LPNs, the medical on-call system, all on-call nursing systems, as well as ensuring compliance with all rules and regulations of oversight agencies. This role involves identifying medical needs, overseeing medical care, coordinating support services, and developing/maintaining medical protocols. The position also requires regular review of participant medical records, participation in participant meetings, ensuring coordination of medical services, staying updated on participant health, conducting site visits and audits, and providing direct nursing assistance when needed. A key aspect of this role is the oversight and supervision of all Agency RNs and LPNs, including providing support, direction, and conducting performance evaluations. Additionally, the Senior Nursing Manager will teach Approved Medication Assistive Personnel (AMAP) courses, ensure medication administration competency, provide staff orientation and training, and practice the Code of Ethics. The role also involves ensuring RNs attend scheduled medical review meetings and performing other assigned duties.
