About The Position
Under the supervision of the Supervisor or Management, the Technical Specialist plans, directs, and coordinates all technical activities in the division of technical expertise or practice. The Technical Specialist is responsible for all quality and technical functions for that division. This position is with Providence Facey Medical Foundation, whose culture emphasizes patient-focused, whole-person care, understanding, commitment, mutual respect, and empowering caregivers.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited program in the area of technical expertise.
- Upon hire, California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification.
- Upon hire, National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board or National Registered Technologist certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
- Within 30 days of hire, National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Four years of experience as a technologist in the area of expertise in a hospital setting or imaging center.
- Technical experience in a hospital or healthcare environment.
Nice To Haves
- Five years of experience as a technologist in the specified field.
