You will serve as a trusted advisor, helping nonprofit leaders understand the financial story behind their programs and funding. This Is a Thinking Role We are looking for someone who is comfortable with ambiguity, asks strong questions, and can explain the why behind accounting decisions.
Requirements
- 7–10 years of accounting experience with strong nonprofit exposure
- Deep understanding accrual accounting, GAAP, and grant compliance
- QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication and critical-thinking skills
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary accounting resource for multiple nonprofit clients
- Lead full-cycle accounting and month-end close processes
- Analyze complex nonprofit accounting situations and recommend solutions
- Guide clients on fund restrictions, allocations, and grant reporting
- Communicate directly with executive directors and boards
