About The Position

JUICE is a performance marketing agency that has driven more than $2.5 billion in client revenue for brands like L’Oréal, CBDistillery, Effy Jewelry, Bond Vet, and [solidcore]. Our average client stays with us for over three years, our teams are senior only, and we run on proprietary AI built by our parent company, ONAR. The agency wins consistently once we’re in the room. Our BD engine gets us there; this role owns what happens next- diagnosing the opportunity, selling the value of performance marketing, and turning qualified conversations into long-term clients. This isn’t a seat where you build your own pipeline from a cold start. A dedicated BD operations lead runs targeting, outbound, and scheduling, and books qualified discovery calls onto your calendar. The CEO joins your largest closing calls, but you own the discovery, pitch, proposal, negotiation, and number.

Requirements

• 5+ years personally selling performance marketing or digital agency retainers, ideally $5K–$25K+ per month.
• You’ve carried a new-business revenue target, consistently hit it, and can speak concretely about the retainers you’ve closed, their size, sales cycle, and how you won them.
• You understand paid media well enough to sell it. You don’t need to be a media buyer, but you should be fluent in Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok and the fundamentals of CAC, LTV, ROAS/MER, attribution, conversion rate, creative performance, and channel mix.
• You know the modern e-commerce measurement stack. Shopify, GA4, and attribution or analytics platforms such as Triple Whale, Northbeam, or similar tools should be familiar territory.
• A real network in e-commerce, DTC, and consumer brands, with the credibility to lead a conversation with founders, CMOs, and Heads of Growth.
• A discovery-led seller. Before you ever show a deck, you’re asking about margins, CAC, LTV, channel mix, attribution, creative performance, conversion rate, retention, and what the brand has already tried.
• You can clearly articulate why a brand should hire an agency, why JUICE’s approach is different, and how performance marketing should connect to the broader economics of the business.
• You can run a credible sales conversation without relying on a strategist or media buyer to translate the service for you. Our specialists will join when needed, but you should be able to carry the commercial conversation yourself.
• Confident enough in your close rate to want commission-heavy compensation with uncapped upside.
• Fluent with modern sales, marketing, and AI tools. We use AI daily across the company and expect you to use it naturally in prospect research, preparation, follow-up, and pipeline management.

Responsibilities

• Own new business revenue for JUICE: lead discovery, identify the underlying growth opportunity, shape the pitch to each brand, write and present proposals, handle objections, negotiate, and close.
• Sell recurring performance marketing retainers to e-commerce and consumer brands, with a minimum engagement size we hold firm on. Quality matters as much as volume: your compensation includes a second-year component, so clients that stay make you money.
• Work the pipeline our BD operations lead builds for you, and bring your own network on top of it.
• Keep the pipeline honest: stages, values, and next steps current, reviewed in a weekly meeting with the ONAR leadership team (CEO, President, and Finance).
• Feed what you hear in the market back into our targeting, positioning, pitch, service offering, and creative.
