About The Position

SecureOps is a Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) delivering 24/7 security operations, managed detection and response (MDR), and SOC-as-a-Service to enterprise clients. The Senior Network Security Engineer leads complex troubleshooting, drives operational excellence, and improves systems and processes. This role acts as a technical leader within the team, mentoring engineers and contributing to architectural and operational improvements.

Requirements

  • Expert-level understanding of TCP/IP and network architecture
  • Advanced experience with routing, switching, and security design
  • Deep expertise in multiple vendors (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of cloud networking, SD-WAN, SASE, and zero trust
  • Experience with system integrations (automation)
  • Must hold a valid Fortinet NSE 7 certification.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring ability
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
  • Ability to operate under pressure during critical incidents
  • Strong communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Proactive mindset with focus on continuous improvement
  • 5+ years of network/security engineering experience
  • Proven experience handling complex environments and incidents

  • Lead resolution of major incidents

  • Mentor and support junior and intermediate engineers
  • Drive knowledge sharing and technical standards
  • Elevate overall team capability
  • Identify risks and vulnerabilities proactively
  • Ensure a strong security posture across environments
  • Guide best practices and standards
