About The Position

Leidos is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join their elite team supporting mission-critical national security programs. In this role, the engineer will work at the forefront of cybersecurity, network engineering, and advanced analytics, helping to defend and enable some of the nation’s most vital operations. The Cyber & Analytics Business Area (CABA) brings together experts in Security Engineering, Computer Network Operations (CNO), SIGINT, Mission Software, and Cryptographic Key Management. Requirements

12–15 years of network engineering experience (or equivalent expertise)
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (or 5 additional years of experience in lieu of degree)
Strong experience in network design, optimization, and security
CCNA and CCNP certifications required
Proven ability to lead technical efforts and mentor teams
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph (required)

Responsibilities

Leading advanced network troubleshooting and problem resolution
Analyzing and optimizing network performance, latency, and throughput
Designing and implementing scalable, secure network architectures
Working with technologies such as: Routing protocols & BGP, Policy-based routing & traffic shaping, IPSec tunneling & NAT, Firewalls, load balancing, and WAN optimization
Evaluating and integrating emerging networking technologies
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver mission-driven solutions
Mentoring junior engineers (Levels 0–2) and ensuring engineering excellence
