RingCentral is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support production infrastructure across its global data center footprint, which carries real-time voice, video, and messaging traffic. The role is part of the NetOps Infrastructure team, which owns routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers. The team works across the US, EU, and India, with coverage aligned to each employee’s business hours five days a week. Night shifts are not required; occasional weekend work may be needed for planned maintenance windows, but is rare. The engineer will troubleshoot production network issues end to end, perform operational maintenance, and deliver infrastructure projects. The role also supports Lab, Stage, and Regression environments alongside production and works directly with platform and application teams. It is an infrastructure role rather than an automation role, though scripting to improve personal workflows is welcomed. RingCentral describes itself as an AI-forward engineering organization. Engineers receive access to AI assistants and are expected to use them in daily work such as configuration review, log analysis, scripting, and documentation. Engineers must validate AI-generated output against documentation and lab testing and follow company data-handling policies.
