About The Position

The Senior Network Engineer architects, engineers, maintains, and troubleshoots enterprise networks in a multi-vendor, Cisco-heavy, multi-site environment with dense technology. The role includes network security and balances architecture, engineering, and support according to project needs and priorities. The engineer owns network systems and projects through some or all of their lifecycles, leads root cause analysis for outages and performance issues, collaborates with teams across relevant areas of expertise, communicates issues and resolutions to teammates and leadership, and mentors less-senior engineers and technicians. The position operates at a high tempo and requires self-management of task lists based on communicated priorities.

Requirements

At least 8 years of network engineering experience in secure or cleared environments.
Active TS clearance and ability to obtain TS/SCI.
Professional certification required.
Experience with progressive responsibilities commensurate with a senior role.
DoD 8140 compliance required.
Deep understanding of Layer 4 and below.
Experience with network technologies and equipment associated with these layers, including routing and switching, firewalls, VPNs, and SDN.

Nice To Haves

Expert-level professional certification, such as CCIE or JNCIE.
