About The Position

The Senior Network Engineer will architect, engineer, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise networks in a multi-vendor, Cisco-heavy, multi-site environment with dense technology and network security requirements. The role balances architecture, engineering, and support as projects and priorities change, and involves owning network systems and projects through part or all of their lifecycles. The position has a high operational tempo and requires self-management of task lists based on communicated priorities. The engineer will lead root cause analysis for outages and performance issues, engage with teams with other areas of expertise on relevant projects and systems, communicate issues clearly to teammates and leadership, collaborate on resolutions, and mentor less-senior engineers and technicians. The work requires deep understanding of Layer 4 and below, with experience across technologies such as routing and switching, firewalls, VPNs, and SDN.
